About the Event

For most of us, the past year has meant coping with unexpected situations and difficulties, and even as lockdown eases and in many ways life starts to become more ‘normal’, the importance of taking time to listen to and care for ourselves cannot be underestimated.  Self care is as varied as we are and one of the things we want to do at knack is help you find new ways and take time to look after yourself and stay well.

Join us for a free one hour mental wellbeing session with psychologist Dr Sheena Kumar, where she will share her expertise with an introduction to journaling for self care and coping with uncertainty.  Whether you are a daily journal writer or have never tried before, join us for this relaxed Saturday morning event to pick up some new wellbeing tips and techniques. 

Dr Sheena Kumar has over 13 years experience working in mental health settings. This includes working as ‘Head of Wellbeing’ for a large mental health organisation. Currently Dr Kumar works across the private sector providing tailored psychological therapy and coaching. Dr Kumar is an expert supporting people to manage stress and anxiety using practical, easy to understand solutions.

This event is FREE to attend, however places are limited so don’t delay.  If you’re a knack member or have bought April’s bookbinding box as a one off, you’re guaranteed a place.  If you’re not a member and haven’t tried one of our boxes, you are very welcome to join this session – and feel free to share this with any friends, family or colleagues who may be interested.
