​Welcome to your knack box! We're super excited about collaborating with Article 25 to bring you this private workshop! Read on to find out what's in your box, how to access the live stream workshop and most importantly, how to care for the plants in your box.

What's in your box

 

• Glass globe 

• Glass globe lid 

• Curved tweezers

• Spray bottle ​

• Organic coco substrate (aka Coir) (in the brown paper bag)

• Lava rock (in the white glassine bag)

• Vermicast (in the biodegradable zip seal bag)

• Bun Moss (looking a little bit chubby its own bag and wrapped in slightly damp kitchen roll)

• Pilea Depressa (aka Baby's Tears) (in the petri dish)

• Peperomia Prostrata (aka String of Turtles) (the plant with leaves that look like turtle shells in the petri dish)

All come in a mailer box made from 90% recycled materials .

Plant care

To keep your plants healthy before the workshop, please do the following using room temperature water: 

​

1.  Bun Moss – You’ll find this in one of the brown paper bags. Take this out and submerge it in some water for a few seconds. Then take it out, squeeze out as much of the water as possible and then put it in a closed lid container (e.g. Tupperware) to keep it from drying out. If it starts to look like it is drying out or goes brown, repeat this process.

2.  Tropical plant cuttings – You’ll find these within the petri dish. Fill the spray bottle with some water and give these a couple of squirts each day. You should keep these in the petri dish but open it up to air them once a day. 

​

Also, keep the coir and lava rock away from water for now!

The Workshop

The live stream workshop aired at 2pm on Sunday 13th June 2021.  If you missed the live workshop, don't worry, you can still make your terrarium using the video below.  You will have access to this video for 1 month, but we recommend to build your terrarium as soon as possible to keep your plants healthy and happy.
